If your JobClock battery runs low, it needs to be changed in order to continue accurately tracking time. The JobClock’s lights will alternately flash green and red to indicate a low battery. The battery levels for all of your JobClocks can also be viewed in TimeSummit.
Viewing Your JobClock Battery Health
In TimeSummit:
You can click the JobClocks navigation link and view the battery voltage of each JobClock at the time of its last download. To print out this list use the JobClock List report.

In ezJobClock Manager:
You can view the battery voltage of each of the JobClocks in your system on the ”JobClocks” screen which displays the last collection date and the last known voltage.
Changing The JobClock Battery
- Loosen the hex screw on the back of the JobClock; you do not need to remove the screw completely.
- Unscrew the back cover of the JobClock counterclockwise until it comes off.
- Remove the old battery from the compartment and dispose of it properly.
- Insert the new battery into the compartment; you will hear a beep indicating the JobClock has restarted.
- Screw on the back cover of the JobClock.
- Screw the hex screw back in until it’s secure.
- To set the date & time, collect from the JobClock using whatever method you normally use to collect, e.g. FastTrakker Pro or Exaktime Mobile.
Now your JobClock is ready to use.
